Learn to Ride follows the National Standard for cycle training guidelines and delivers training for cyclists of all skill levels from complete beginners to cyclists wishing to ride on the road. There are two Learn to Ride courses available:
Level 1
The Level 1 sessions are for people to improve their riding control skills and can include teaching people to pedal. These sessions are delivered on traffic free training sites.
Level 2
Level 2 courses are aimed at cyclists who can demonstrate they can ride to a proficient Level 1 standard. A cyclist must be able to competently ride and control their bike before they are admitted on to a level 2 course. These are on road sessions.
